Gone again ...
Sean is gone on the Morris fire. We do get to talk on the phone.. he has been working night shifts from about 6pm to 11am since he left (Monday).
On a separte note... in all honesty.. I love being married to a man who loves his work and take pride is what he does. I give God ALL the glory, He has blessed me so much.
We would like to play

Meatball Calzone
Last night I didn't know what was going to work for dinner (we are on our budget now so we promised to limit our dinner-out nights).
We came up with this little number: Meatball calzone
Ingredients:
ready to use pizza dough (we used pillsbury--it was one sale!)
marinara sauce
shredded motzerella cheese
turkey meatballs
**all of these are things we usually have in stock**
Directions:
1. quarter meatballs
2. spread outdough on a baking stone (I <3 pampered chef)
3. cover entire surface with marinara sauce
4. cover half with meatballs
5. cover same half with cheese
6. fold in half
7. bake at 425 for 11 minutes
8. enjoy
9. get a second slice of this delicious goodness before the big eater of the family finishes it off!
We are so excited because this is easy to make, and bakes fast.
Next time we are going to add spinach, and I already have plans for a different one bell pepers and chicken :) yumm
Yay! Happy Eating!

Slowly Loosing my mind..24 days and counting!!
Sean also mentioned that I have been a 'bit' fiesty latest. I think getting married in 24 days is kinda getting to me, and all the details that I have been putting off can't be put off anymore.
A small sample of my TODO list:
- Buy Wedding Reception Insurace
- Buy Groomsmen gifts
- Finalize reception music selections
- Design and print ceremony programs
- Buy shoes (for me)
- Buy earrings (for me) didn't think I was going to be so picky!!
- Buy 'stuff' to wear for the wedding night :/ gosh.. don't know if it really matters.. haha
- Finalize Vows (gosh this is hard for us..
- Finalize passage for scripture reading
- Burn ceremony music for church (this is due today and won't be done!)
- Seating chart (behhh)
Those are a couple of the larger TODO items.. but I want to know about all those small ones that are not on my list but I know should be..
Sean keeps asking me what he can do to help, and I wish I had an answer for him! I don't really know what else there is to do... I am sure that there is stuff that we aren't thinking of but I don't know what it is. Sean keeps telling me, "Well I don't know what to do, I've never planned a wedding before"--and what.. he thinks that I have?? Poor Sean, he is taking my stress like a champ and listening to me plan and talk to him about things.. and last night he even "staying up" with me while I designed and submitted our guest book (which I really hope turns out okay).
If anyone has any TODO items that they think might have fallen through the cracks PLEASE let me know!

Free Breakfast = long lines = food at Pick up Stix
We took one look at the parking lot and jetted over to Pickup Stix.
Rachel told us later that one of her friends had waiting two hours to receive her complimentary dish.
Really?? Its four dollars, my time is most definitely worth more than two dollars an hour.. come on people.
In the end, our conversation was just as wonderful, our spirits were just as high, and even with our wallets a little lighter, I think we would all agree; WORTH IT!
